Founded by Grand Master Ik-Hwan Kim, U.M.I. is an institute dedicated to the tutelage of not only traditional Tae Kwon Do, but also the art of Hap Ki Do.
As founder of U.M.I., Grand Master kim offeres a wealth of knowledge that can be gained only through his 40 years of experience in the field of Martial Arts.

Within these pages, you will discover the benefits of Martial Arts, gain a familiarity to U.M.I., and learn about the Grand Master himself.

New Ki-Gong Plus session starts (4/30 Tue & 5/1 Wed) NEW DATES

**NEW starting dates**

Our new Ki-Gong Plus session will begin on 4/30/13 (Tue) 1 - 1:45 pm and 5/1/13 (Wed) 7 - 7:45 pm.

The session will last for 8 weeks ending on 6/18/13 (Tue) and 6/19/13 (Wed).

You can attend either or both Tuesday/Wednesday classes.

No previous experience required. No uniform required: just wear comfortable clothing.

UMI Annual Goodwill Games (4/21/13 Sun), Newton, NJ

Universal Martial Arts Institute will hold its annual Invitational Goodwill Games on Sunday April 21, 2013.

It will be held at Long Pond School, 707 Limecrest Road, Newton, NJ 07860.

UMI TaeKwonDo Promotion Test (4/6/13 Sat)

Universal Martial Arts TaeKwonDo promotion test will be held at the Lafayette school on Saturday April 6, 2013.

Children's testing begins at 9:30 am.

Adults start warming up around 11 am.

Please do not forget all sparring gears and full uniform.

UMI Charity Break-A-Thon (March 2, 2013 Sat)

Our annual Charity Break-a-thon is scheduled to be held on March 2, 2013 (Sat) at our Lafayette school.

It will start at 9:30 am.

UMI TaeKwonDo Promotion Test (2/2/13 Sat)

Our first UMI TaeKwonDo Promotion Test of the year will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Lafayette, NJ.

Children's test starts at 9:30 am and the adults line up at 11 am.

Full uniform and sparring gears required.
